This week, on July 31, 2026, the One Piece Card Game will officially release 6 Starter Decks featuring not only the Straw Hat Pirates but also the Marines and the Revolutionary Army. Each deck has their own unique gameplay, ranging from aggro to control to even card manipulation. 5 decks will be mono-coloured (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, and Purple), while one deck will have 2 colours (Black & Red).

Here are the details:

STARTER DECK -RED Monkey.D.Luffy- [ST-31]

This starter deck will revolve around the usage of DON!! Card to make a character gain Rush or Blocker and reduce the enemy power as well.

STARTER DECK -GREEN Roronoa Zoro- [ST-32]

This starter deck is actually based around the OP12 Roronoa Zoro, which became popular a while back. You will see some familiar cards such as Tashigi, Kuina, and Koushirou. So this deck can actually be a good starting point if you like to play Zoro, and the deck is already relatively strong to begin with.

STARTER DECK -BLUE Kuzan- [ST-33]

This starter deck is based around the OP12 Kuzan, where you will play as a Marine Admiral and try to control your opponent. Some cards are actually popular cards from the previous OP12 Kuzan deck, so this can be a great way to start if you don’t want to buy singles.

STARTER DECK -PURPLE Charlotte Katakuri- [ST-34]

Who’s looking forward to seeing the future? With this Katakuri deck, you can look through the future of your opponent’s top deck. This deck revolve around OP11 Katakuri leader and the Big Mom Pirates to see your opponent’s top deck and manipulate your own DON!! Card.

STARTER DECK -RED/BLACK Sabo- [ST-35]

We now move to the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army, Sabo! This deck revolve around OP13 Sabo, which gained some traction back then but was getting overshadowed by the “trio meta”: Imu, Ace, and Zoro, as they’re so powerful in their era. You have quite a good starting point from this deck as the Revolutionary Army sub-category already has quite a lot of card pool in which you can tinker around.

STARTER DECK -YELLOW Eustass"Captain"Kid- [ST-36]

This starter deck is quite fun in my opinion because the Yellow deck is about life manipulation. With Kid, you can utilise the Kid Pirates cards and Supernovas cards for the deck, which can come in handy to create your perfect deck. This deck will use OP10 Kid as the leader, which gained some popularity during the set releases, so it will be a fun deck if you try to add some newly released cards into it.
